Weekend fun!


Had dinner with the Momo (my mother) then of course had to make a trip to Toys-R-Us and of course they had the new Iron Man movie toys and of course I had to buy one. Well worth it! Then on to the boat on Friday and a weekend of fun. Saturday was cold and cloudy and did not seem like it was worth going out there. Dad had a couple of projects to do so had to work on that to earn my keep there. Nancy took Samantha to a children's park in Hendersonville and let her play a while. Sunday turned out much better as it was sunny and beautiful, kids wanted to go fishing so dad had to set up the fishing poles for that activity. We then went to the other end of the dock and dropped our lines in. Shortly afterwards I reeled in a nice bluegill. All of a sudden we hear Ben yelling that he has one and caught a very nice crappie! Dad had lots of advice for us on how to catch fish but he didn't catch nary a one. Samantha became a champion fish hook bait-er with out anyone showing her how to do it. Then after the fishing was done dad cleaned all the fish and we had them for diner. Nancy also made french fries from scratch and they were excellent as well. Just as the weekend went!
