A great day today!

Well I have to tell you that I had a really great day today. I was paid the ultimate compliment today, at least for me. I was picking my mother and her husband from the airport. They had just gone to KC to drive a car that my sister had bought while she was down here. They drove it up on Saturday and flew back today. Anyway we were standing at the baggage claim waiting for their luggage to arrive. Well there was this little boy he was about 9 or 10 who was helping, I believe his grandmother, retrieve her luggage. Well he grabbed this one bag and it about carried him down the conveyer with it. So I grabbed it and pulled it off the belt and set it in front of her. She said “Thank you very much it is so nice to be around southern gentlemen again. I was in Denver for a week and the men just aren’t the same” my reply was “Thank you, they just don’t know how to do it out there do they” and she said “No they don’t” Well I know I must have been grinning ear to ear as it really meant a lot to me that she said that. I was on a high the rest of the day. Of course I then proceeded to stack her bags on to her cart so she could wheel them out. Not to mention that my mother had brought some of my sisters cinnamon rolls with her so it added to my day as well. Nothing like having fresh made (my sister had actually gotten up this morning and made them) cinnamon rolls flown in from KC! Yeah life is good!!!!!!!!!!!
